After Arson in Fringyeng, Fon of Guneku Speaks Out

Three days ago, we reported on the burning down of the Oko power plant in Fringyeng, Upper Guneku by yet to be identified individuals, an act committed on Friday 2nd September 2022. In a recent development, the Fon of Guneku, H.R.H Ticha Fomuki IX has addressed the issue.

In a two page document which Guneku Village has a copy, the traditional authority began by first thanking his subjects of Fringyeng quarter for their devotion and continuous commitment to the development of Guneku in general and Fringyeng in particular, ensuring the people live a better life. "To that end" wrote the Fon, "I'll like to take this opportunity and specially thank my son Kasi Rhex Ndeh for taking the initiative to apply the knowledge that he acquired from his studies abroad in Uganda to develop a hydroelectric plant (funded by Dr. Kasi Elvis) to supply electricity to the people of Fringyeng quarter". He further expressed satisfaction with the other numerous projects realised for the people such as the Fringyeng clinic, school, community hall, road maintenance just to name these few.

HRM.Dr.Fomuki Walters of Guneku Village will today Thursday Febuary 24th 2022 be a Guest at Talking Point on Equinox TV as from 6:20pm to talk about combating Health Challenges in our local Communities.
