Fomuki Carine — a queen of the Palace
Fomuki Carine is recorded as a queen of the Guneku Palace. She is a disability expert who worked with the SEEPD Programme of the CBC Health Service, and she appears in the record at the Palace occasions for people living with disabilities in December 2019 and December 2021, and in the Guneku delegation to the House of Hope orphanage in July 2021.
Ngam-Fon — the Fon’s mouthpiece
Ngam-Fon is a traditional title of the Guneku Palace: the holder speaks for the Fon. It was conferred on Tayong Fah Elvis on 30 July 2021. He is the same person the site names as Delegate of the Guneku Agro CIG — one man in two roles, not two men.
Alhaji Hassan Djibo — Ardo of Guneku
Alhaji Hassan Djibo is the Ardo of Guneku, the highest Mbororo authority in the village. The Bantu and Mbororo peoples of Guneku live together in the village, and the record of Guneku is not complete without the Mbororo authority in it.
Fons Against AIDS, and what it became
The late HRH Fon Fomuki Patrick Nji was founding president of Fons Against AIDS in 2003. That body was renamed in 2021 as F.H.E.D — Fons for Health, Education and Development, and it is still headquartered in the Guneku Palace, with the reigning Fon as its president. It is one of the few threads that runs unbroken from one reign into the next.
