The annual scholarship examination of the Afor Foundation was held at the Guneku Fon’s Palace on Saturday, 22 February 2025.
201 pupils registered for the examination and 200 sat it, overseen by thirteen invigilators. The top scorer came from Wumnebug, with two runners-up.
The Afor Foundation is the scholarship programme of Prof. Dr. Roland Teboh Forbang, a son of Guneku and Associate Professor and Medical Director at Hackensack Meridian Health Network in New Jersey. It awards over 1,000,000 FCFA each year to outstanding pupils in Mbengwi Central, and is hosted at the Palace.
