19 Fons from across Meta and 14 MECUDA executives and representatives met at the Guneku Palace on Saturday, 29 August 2026 to discuss the future of the Meta Fondom.
Seven resolutions
The meeting passed seven major resolutions to hold MECUDA accountable, among them quarterly meetings, a full financial audit, a new communication plan, and fair development across the whole of Meta. Hard questions were put on MECUDA elections, the audit and the handling of community funds.
A warning on drugs reaching the youth
A serious warning was raised about drugs reaching young people, with an action point directed to every Fon.
Tomfon Isaac Fomunjong called on Meta to stay united and disciplined.
Guneku honoured
HRH Dr. Fomuki, Fon of Guneku, was honoured for his achievements in medical education, with the MEDPHISATG medical school based in Guneku.
The Fon of Njindom, HRH Prof. Fon Fombo, President of MEFU, publicly thanked the Fon of Guneku for preparing everything the Fons and MECUDA needed in just three days after another palace fell through, and thanked the women of Guneku who catered for nineteen royalties.
Fondom Studios was recognised among those making a real difference for Meta.
