A send-off service was held on Sunday 23 June 2024 for Rev. Ekole Alexander, who was leaving his post as Parish Pastor of Presbyterian Church (PC) Guneku to take up appointment as Presbytery Treasurer in Bali.
PC Guneku stands within the Palace grounds. The village record notes that there are as many churches in Guneku as there are quarters, and that the Palace itself is surrounded by them.
