On Thursday 29 July 2021, HRH Dr. Fomuki W. Ticha, Fon of Guneku, together with his classmates of the Sacred Heart Ex-Students’ Association (SHESA) silver jubilee class of Sacred Heart College, Mankon, donated grinding mills and 200,000 FCFA to the House of Hope orphanage at Ngyen-Mbo, Mbengwi.
The mills were fabricated by a young welder in Mbengwi and also serve the Ngyen-Mbo community, which had previously had to travel to Mile 18 to grind. The children also received a basin of fresh fish harvested from the pond in the Guneku Palace — the Guneku Integrated Fisheries Project.
